It isn’t by chance that I named the first Fitzpatrick book At Last. (psst, did you add it to your Goodreads shelf?) It serves the book well, that’s for sure. It is a lot like the Santinis, from which it sprung when Aeden’s sister Kaitlin got her own Santini in One Night with a Santini. A bit romantic with a sexy yet sweet Alpha Male. We’ve seen Aeden suffer through his trip to Hawaii in A Santini Takes the Fall, and Wendy is finally on her way home to Baltimore. But, I have always had a soft place in my heart for the song. It is all about falling in love and the thrilling excitement that goes along with it. No matter what sub genre I write, the soul of the book is about people falling in love and finding their happily ever after.

One of my favorites as well
This is the song I danced to with my Papaw at my wedding. It was his and my grandmothers song. They met just after the war and were married 59 years. This is the first song they danced to, and Sentimental Journey was their first date 🙂 It makes me smile everytime I hear it.
It’s just one of those songs where I hear the first few notes and it makes me sigh.
