“So you had another nightmare last night,” Dr. James said to her. He had told her to call him by his first name. Calling him Ed just didn’t seem right.
“I have lots of nightmares.”
He said nothing, staring at her with those patient puppy dog eyes that were so much like Charlie’s. Some days it soothed her. Today, it irritated the hell out of her.
