TEMPT ME
Jesse is here! I had a lot of fun writing the book and getting to hang out with Papa and Joey again. They are always good for a laugh…not to mention the occasional tear. Their relationship always gives me warm fuzzies.
Most people think they know what Jesse Johnson wants out of life and it was fun to get into his head. He was actually kind of a sweet guy when I got to know him.
Exclusive Excerpt:
She laughed, really enjoying him.
“That’s a sweet sound.”
His voice had deepened and it danced over her nerve endings. She wanted to just grab him and do all kinds of bad things to him. She knew they weren’t ready, well she wasn’t ready, but she needed to do something, take some kind of action.
So, she took his face in her hands and leaned forward to brush her mouth over his. It was a sweet kiss that soon turned into more. Heat exploded, her body seemed to burn up. Needing more, she slipped her tongue into his mouth. God, the man was killing her. His skimmed his hands down her body, brushing his thumbs against the sides of her breasts. She moaned his name against his mouth.
When she realized she was trying to justify slipping over the center console and onto his lap, she forced herself to pull back.
“Okay, so we just made out in a car.”
He laughed. “That wasn’t much of a make out session.”
“Oh, really?”
“Yeah. If it had been, you’d be beneath me moaning my name.”
She closed her eyes. “You’re trying to kill me here.”
“I think I have a bigger chance of passing out due to lack of blood in the brain, so I don’t want to hear about your discomfort.”
