I am doing my first hometown signing today! Yes, I can say that because for the first time in years, I have an honest to goodness hometown. Follow me after the jump to find out all the details.
As a military family, we referred to Texas as home for a very long time. Our parents are there and my husband was born and bred in Burkburnett, Texas (AKA Boomtown). I really floated because as a military brat, I never really felt AT HOME in Texas. It was home, but I just can’t explain it. But, when we moved to Virginia, I felt as if this was the place I was supposed to live. It just called to me. Fall is amazing here and we have SEASONS.
So, I am super excited to have my first signing in my hometown, and it is FREE!!! The Fauquier County Public Library is sponsoring it. Here is their blurb about it:
