A Note About Wicked Temptations

As many of you know, the last couple of years has been a rollercoaster for both me and my family. I am still learning my limits and I hit one this winter.

I was writing and editing Wicked Temptations  and there was something wrong. I couldn’t quite understand what was wrong with the book. But, it was this week when I realized there was a characterization flaw. The book was flat because the characters were flat. I had been so worried about the plot, that the character development wasn’t up to snuff. Worse, the lingering pain issues and a bout with a cold, made it hard to concentrate. I’m assuming that’s why it took me so long to figure out what was wrong.

Once I realized what was wrong, I knew I could not put it out.  So, I am pushing the book back a little over 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I will lose all of my Amazon pre-orders and by doing this, I will lose my ability to do Amazon preorders for a year. So I do not make this decision lightly. I made the decision because I respect my readers and refuse to give them less than my best.

Everyone who pre-ordered the book on Apple, BN, Google Play, and Kobo, will have their pre-orders preserved.

Amazon folks, I have a way for you to make sure to know when it goes live. I’ve created a sign up for you. Once the book is live, the notice will go out and the list will be deleted. There will be no other emails (other than those related to signing up). A regular newsletter will go out the official day release, but the best way to make sure you don’t miss it is sign up for the notice. You can also sign up for my RSS FEED.

I  apologize for pushing the book back and I hope that you will stick with me as I fix and polish the book so that is as good as my readers deserve.
