I wanted to tell you a little bit about the book while I am waiting for it to upload. While I was writing Eli’s book, I was sort of surprised by him. Addicts have gotten know Elias St John through several books, and like him, I had some ideas of what he was like. He completely blew away my preconceived notions of him.
He is a Dom, but not the hardened Dom I thought. Whenever I tried to push him the way I thought he would go, I got pushed back. He wasn’t as cynical as I thought he was. In fact, when I got into his head he was kind of…well…sweet. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. And, the BDSM didn’t rise to the level I thought it would. Don’t get me wrong. It is definitely hot and OMG it pushes all the buttons. Eli does like to spank.
But, he couldn’t stay as detached as I thought he would. I knew he would fall for her, because it IS a romance. Still he surprised me. And I hope readers love him as much as I do:)
